Lissy Rush (aka Malissa Rush) was born in Mission, BC, Canada, did part of her growing up in Calgary, AB and moved to Texas in 1997. From a young age, Lissy was actively involved in dance, music, and theater, although singing has always been her passion. Her most recent activity; a long distance collaboration with musician Miles Durrie in Canada, known as "Sally & Yellow", can be found on iTunes, CD Baby, and MySpace. She describes it as "One part Rockin' Canadian, one part Electro Soul, one part Juicy Blues, and one part Sugary Pop! Put it all into a martini shaker, serve over ice and enjoy! We're like a Cosmopolitan for your ears." She is also in the beginning stages of creating her own music and is excited about learning how to do it all from her iMac. She currently resides in a suburb of Dallas, TX with her husband, Jason, and her cat, Felix.
