I am 17 years old and winner of the 2009 Los Angeles Music Awards' Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award. I Just won the USA Songwriting 1st Place for my song Dancing Through Life. I am the Overall Grand Prize winner for my songs I submitted to the contest. My song Dancing Through Life and 2 others were chosen to be played on the Woman's FM Radio and picked as January's song of the month. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of Autism) in the third grade. My grade school years were full of difficulty and heartache as I struggled to fit in. My only solace was musical theatre, until I attended "80s pop star Deborah Gibson's Camp Electric Youth in July of 2008. Working with Deborah, acting legend Howard Fine and vocal instructor Billy Purnell, my performance ability grew dramatically. I have been able to perform to packed houses such as the Roxy on Sunset, Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, Ryan Black's 80's Caberet in Hollywood, Pechanga Casino in the Inland Empire, B.I.G. Expo in Ontario and presenting at the Hollywood F.A.M.E Awards. My goal is to make a living on the professional stage, T.V., and film. I have graduated High School 2 years early and am now in college.
I do not have a band. I use my T.V. Tracks. My songs are all professionally recorded. I have Written and sung songs with Debbie Gibson(80's) Pop Star as well as Current Broadway Star. I am coached by amazing people: Debbie Gibson, Heather Provost-Broadway Producer, Billy Purnell- Vocal coach to the stars.
